about

Last year I invited five of my oldest musical friends , peer mentors , to Los Angeles to record with me. As I'd settled into my new home of California, I realized they were each a sequoia tree in the grove of my life. Their grounded nature and truth to themselves guide me when I feel uncertain or lost . By being positive role models, they'd helped me find love and a diverse, fruitful life in music. I’d bathed in fire on the journey that brought me west, but found the grove grounding me on the other side. I hope you enjoy the first song and title track from my upcoming album , “Dusted Beauty”

lyrics

I'm in a diner just up the road
Having a sit in the morning cold
A cup of coffee with a little cream
And a million dead end dreams

My car's parked just outside
I bought it when the old one died
It's not pretty, but it got me here
For that i'm glad, when you appear

Hello there, dusted beauty
With the twilight caught in your hair
Wearing a rainbow sweater
Sunset cheeks and lips of bartlett pear

I was born and raised on top of a hill
With the millionaires and the daffodils
Some like the flowers, some like the cash
I don't think i'll be going back

Hello there, dusted beauty
With the twilight caught in your hair
Wearing a rainbow sweater
Sunset cheeks and lips of bartlett pear
Sunset cheeks and lips of bartlett pear
